For this assignment, I chose to use a personal ocurance to show how digital surveillance actually was helpful. I feel as if I have been very close minded to the opposite side of these major tech companies, and just assumed the worst due to the fact that this class involves a lot of conversation around these ideas. I took a helpful example because I am a personal user of many digital surveillance products. I made sure to include reasons as to why to do your own research on these products, because like many other people, some products are perfect for me, while others just make me slightly too uncomfortable.
