Earth Care
- Tesla Electric Vehicles – These have a smaller carbon footprint even when including the power to charge them. While they may have a smaller carbon footprint, there is some carbon emissions required to make them, but in the long term, the electric vehicles will have less of an impact than a standard gas car.
- HOBO Weather stations – Weather stations can be used to monitor the local environment and can help predict change. Scientists can use these to track temperature, rainfall, wind and relative humidity.
- EOSDA Crop Monitoring – EOSDA Crop Monitoring uses satellites to allow farmers with large amounts of farmland to have insights into how their crops are doing. They also have streamlined the data for the farmers and made it into easy to read analytics
People Care
- Better Help – Better help is a mental health online platform that allows for users to sign up and meet with professionals. They offer some programs to help reduce the cost for users to be able to sign up and get the help they need.
- Khan Academy – Khan Academy is a free online schooling resource that students can use for a large amount of classes and topics. Many students including myself have used this before for both math and other courses.
- Photo Math – Photo math is another great resource for students. It can take a picture of most math problems and help break it down for student to understand.
Fair Share
- Goodwill Online Shopping – Goodwill is a great store that has surplus donated by people and sells them to others for a much discounted price. They now have online shopping which makes it even easier for people to get the goods they need.
- Black Bear Exchange – The black bear exchange is a food pantry and exchange for students who are financially struggling. This is an excellent example of people helping out those who need it.
- Internet Archive – The internet archive is non profit digital archive that has many websites and books saved for free. Many students and others use this to help with knowledge
