How did the photo do this? – The technique behind this photo lies in how far away it is. When skimming the photo, you see an image of a whale, at first I thought it was a painting, however when you look closer, you’re able to see all the plastic bags that collectively create the piece and its message.
What was the impact? – I chose this photo because it connects the most to me. I have created a whale sculpture out of discarded fishing gear that brings up the idea about preserving our wildlife and our oceans.
