Week 2 Class – James Corgan

I chose this photograph because of two main reasons. One is of course the visuals and how Chris makes the garbage look more appealing than it actually is, and the second is the year that the photo was taken. So many people older than me like teachers, parents, or politicians like to criticize people my age for our social media use or our habits and ways of living and tell us that we need to contribute to the society that we are damaging and help it grow. However I was born the year that Chris took this photo. So I chose this photo for the message it tells that we did not to stop damaging the amazing world we live in but that we need to start fixing the issues that were handed down to us from the mistakes of my older peers from the past. That we need to stop calling eachother out and work together for our collective benefit.
