This is the same location that I explored for the first post. It is the flood plains near my place. This place is dense with trees as well as a myriad of life including squirrels, frogs, turtles, fish, birds, beavers, many insects, etc. This is something that I have been wanting to explore with my photos, using them to capture the spots with life. The photos I used for this post have life in them but are not exclusively photos of animals. There are also photos of the scenery in the flood plains as well as photos that look at light (because of the way the sun travels through the trees). These things are something I find intresting to take photos of because it represents the ecosystem and specific biological traits of the place that these animals inhabit.
Perhaps my story could follow a specific animal and how it spends its time in the flood plains, or maybe a collection of animals that both occupy and travel through the area. Paired with establishing shots of the place itself to accompany the animal(s). Maybe next time I am out there I will sit and observe all the animals and things I see and then craft my story around what I see. Does this place have everything needed for life? We’re born naked in the forest, warmed by the immaculate sun, nurtured by death brought forth by the American enterprise.
This place could also be a good setting for any story, as it is a beautiful location with unique and varying scenery in a short distance. There are lessons to be learned from the new growth. Things destroyed by man, born again to face eradication in this nation. Babylon fading to the invasion of sapien sin.
