Where I’m From – Meghan Fay

I chose this photo, because it is from a popular orchard that is in my neighborhood. My town is very active during fall, and Roger’s Orchards is a place where we go all throughout the year.

This is a photo of an old castle at the top of a mountain in my town. I hike up the mountain all throughout the summer, but autumn has the best views. It is the highest point within 25 miles of the coast from Florida to Maine, so on clear days, you can see everything,

I live down the street from an amusement park, and I spent all of my summers going there. I went almost every day as a kid, and once I went into high school, I got a job working on the coasters.

This is one of the churches in my downtown. Every year we host an Apple Harvest festival, and the parade line-up starts here. I spent many early mornings in my cheer uniform in front of that church as a child.

  1. Cool perspective in first image, like the pumpkins!
With the added photos, I can see a story about how this ton shaped you emerging.
For example, imagine telling this story for your descendants in a few generations? What would you want to tell them that could anchor them to this place and to the family line & to you?
