Allies-

Malgrum meets a man at a restaurant, and describes his situation. [[Bitoku]] takes him in, as he ironically has taken in a girl([[Ryla]]) years before that has the same issue.

Aside from the man and the girl, he is also rooming with a man from Hawaii([[Mahakali]]), and once the invasion starts, they are joined by a neighbor([[Viktor]]), the mailman([[Bob]]), and two twins ([[Aya and Emi]]) that are friends with the Ryla.

Bitoku-

Bitoku is a Japanese man who plays the mentor role in this story. Although he isn’t old, being in his late 20’s, Bitoku is very knowledgable, whether it be random facts to common sense. He knows the area very well, and is a natural leader who helps others in need.

Mahakali-

Mahakali (kali) is a young Hawaiian who was staying with Bitoku. He is a comedic character, taking things very lightly, and doing a lot of stupid things, which leads to him adding comedy to the plot, as well as a bit of a challenge for the others in the group, since they have to deal with him.

Viktor-

Viktor, the neighbor, is a man originally from Florida. He is tech savvy, and incredibly smart when it comes to knowledge, however lacks common sense. His purpose in the story is to be the brains for the group, being able to give and steal information, and find the best ways to survive, while also adding a bit of humor, due to his stupidity when it comes to common sense.

Bob-

Bob, the mailman, is a man from England, who moved to Japan many years ago. He is more of the brutish juggernaut in the group, as he is a bulkier guy with a temper. His effect on the story is to be the heavy fighter, being able to take out the larger enemies, and clear out many small ones at once, while also providing humor through his temper.

Aya and Emi-

The twins, Aya and Emi, are friends of Ryla. Both are from Japan, and work well together. Their impact on the subplot is being sneaky. They are very quick, nimble, quiet, and observant, which leads them to being the scouts of the group. Although they work well together, they have a rivalry of who can do things better, which also adds comedy to the story.

Ryla-

Ryla is a character who is in a similar situation to Malgrum. She also woke up in the same random alley many years ago, with no memory of anything. She was also found and taken in by Bitoku, where she’s learned of the world, but not of who she was. Her role in the story is the [[love interest]], with she and Malgrum growing a close relationship, which in the end will help.

love interest-

The relationship between Ryla and Malgrum is going to be a driving factor in this story. It is one where it is obvious both are into each other, but isn’t said outright. The relationship gives them both drive to survive, as neither of them wants to lose the other. The relationship also helps each of them find out [[who they were]], which[[in the end is what helps them succeed]].

who they were-

Malgrum and Ryla were actually lovers in another reality. They lived in a reality of immortals, which was disrupted when one of them escaped the reality to create his own. Malgrum was able to chase after him, however the others in that reality were swept into other realities. Ryla was swept to earth, where she, just like Malgrum in the future, had no memory of the past.

in the end is what helps them succeed-

During the final battle, Malgrum and Ryla are separated from the rest of the group in a hanger, and are overwhelmed by the robots. Ryla is injured, which triggers a flashback for Malgrum, which makes all of his memories and abilities return to him, and he disintegrates the entire room.
