Wild Blueberry Sources/Research

I am doing a personal story on my experience camping on Mount Desert Island, but I figured I should still do research on blueberries and the area. I wasn’t sure what to really look into, so I focused on a few sources that highlighted what made down east different and beautiful. The first article has a lot of info and good mentions and the video is just some places I can maybe mention as being other beautiful places in the area.

This article talks about Biden signing into law the DownEast Maine National Heritage Area and why. It talks about the abundance of natural resources and beauty that Down East Maine has, with mentions of wild blueberry farmers as well. It talks some about tourism and how it impacts the economy and local businesses but it also mentions down east’s culture and why everyone feels so close to the land there.
