Feedback
In task 6, I had two questions:
I currently have a separate map for each category. I did it this way because there are so many points that it is overwhelming in one map. Should I try to find a way to combine it all to one map?
It was recommended to me that I include the information from the visit page on the wild blueberry heritage site, which included farms, hikes, museums, and places to stay. Is adding places to eat a good idea?
I got feedback that both the multiple maps and including food were good ideas. I also got feedback that I needed to include more places to eat, including cafes. I will need to do more research to find more local places to eat across Downeast Maine.
Plan
1. Oct 30 – Nov 4. Find resources: find more information on each place included in story map, and find more places for food, hikes, and beaches.
2. Oct 30 – Nov 5. Find and take photos: I still have not made it to Downeast Maine. I need to try to travel down there and take as many photos as I can. Even though we are at the end of the good seasons for Downeast Maine, I think I can still get some good photos of many of the locations. Kaysie has provided photos for a few of the locations, which I just need to add to my story map.
3. Nov 5 – 10. Add all photos and information to storymap.
4. Nov 11 – 14. Add intro paragraphs before each map explaining the content of the map and any important cultural info related to content.
5. Nov 14 – 20. Edit and work on format of story map.
6. Full draft of story done by Nov 21
