Brenna’s older sister Flora gets engaged to her long-time highschool sweetheart. Upon news of the engagement, Brenna’s father, Carmichael gives Flora the ultimate wedding gift; his 1966 Lamborghini Miura. Flora deems Brenna her maid of honor and dumps ALL of the planning on her. Brenna finding out about the car was her last straw as shes been dreaming of this car for YEARS. Tired of feeling like the dissapointment [[Ghost child]] she attempts to put her food down at dinner but fails. Brenna goes ghost leaving her family enraged in the dust and her sister to plan her own wedding.

The Goldman-Sachs siblings were all very close as children. As everyone grew up and social status mattered more then relationship status, they grew apart. For most of Brenna’s life she has been felt like a forgotten middle child as her parents often express their dissapointment in her no matter how hard she tries.

Joesph Synder is the head of the local HOA and seems to have quite a large influence on the people of Darien. Joesph and Carmichael both went to highschool together and were always at competition. Joesph is rather not impressed with Brenna and he sees their first encounter as gateway to being able to get back at Carmichael from all those years ago.

Brenna has been compared to Flora forever which has pinned the two against each other. After disappearing during the important planning and lead up to Flora’s big day, she is more concerned with making her sister feel guilty rather then finding her and seeing if she is okay.

After an intense [[Family Disagreement]], Brenna Goldman-Sachs ditches the big city and hits a [[Small Costal Town]] like a hurricane.

Brenna flees her city to land in Darien, Connecticut. It’s a small coastal town with a population roughly around 7,000.

Brenna’s best friend Elise, plays a pivotal role in her self discovery. Elise is the only person that intially knows where her best friend ran off to. Ultimately it’s Elise’s dissapontment in her best friend that finally makes Brenna look at the wreckage she’s created amongst the townspeople in Darien.

The first wave of hurricane Brenna is she attends a local gala. Determine to meet people, Brenna’s first mistake is introducing herself and the head of the local HOA board. It just so happens that he went to school with Brenna’s father Carmichael and the two definitely do not get along. Unable to embrace the awkwardness Brenna has six too many glasses of wine and ends up not only giving a bad first impression but also embarasses herself infront of some rather powerful people.
