What if you believed you knew better than anyone else. Because unlike you, they can’t see the lies. Yet ironically, for the past ten years, you have been the blindest of all. But sometimes the truth is worse, and for someone like [[me]]… There were moments where I wished I never knew.

:: Kym {“position”:”500,300″,”size”:”100,100″}
Kym notices me in the cafe, visibly very excited to see me. She starts to wave and say something but then she notices Mr. Smith in my company. “*You know I really respect the risks policemen take everyday to protect this city.* Once, I was shopping and some burglar barged in and held the cashier at gunpoint! *So of course, I threw myself between the poor women and the criminal, it was just instinct you know*?”. I made eye contact with Kym once more giving her a look to get me out of this situation. She immediately understood, she gave me a quick salute than [[smashed]] herself up against the glass!

:: me {“position”:”700,300″,”size”:”100,100″}
The morning sun shines brightly in the sky. Sunshine rays bouncing off the clean glass windows of the cafe. Holding my cup of coffee in my hands, I look outside the windows from where I’m sitting in the corner of the cafe. People walking along the sidewalk starting their day. “Amelia? Are you listening”? I turn my head to the man that’s sitting across from me, “Hm?” “Your eyes look very thoughtful today. But I must say, I’ve never seen such golden eyes before. I expect your beauty and charm have left a trial of hearbroken men”. He gives me a subtle wink, I look down while letting out a soft chuckle. “Thank you, Mr. Smith, but I highly doubt it. But if I ever did, I must have been too focused on my work to notice”. “*Oh yes, I understand. It’s the same for me*. My parents own the Evans company, and I’m supposed to take up the business after them. *So I’ve been working hard not to disappont them. But all they care about is how I’m twenty-eight and still not married*”! I look away from him, ‘god this bastard is cheating on his wife’. While glancing out the window once more I notice a women with short black hair standing just outside the cafe. When the women turns to face my way we make eye contact. Once I get a good look at her face I recognize the person to be, ‘[[Kym]]’!

While Kym was pushed up against the glass it made a screech noise while she moved around. I quickly put on a surprised face while turning back to Mr. Smith. “Oh no, dear lord! It is my blind friend! Please excuse me Mr. Smith I have to go help her! It was a pleasure meeting you”. I stood up from my chair as fast as I could while grabbing my jacket and purse. While walking past the table Mr. Smith grabs my arm with force. “You can’t just run off like that! Don’t waste my time”! I snatched my arm back from his vise grip and turned my body towards him in one motion. “You’re right. You really shouldn’t waste time on me. Maybe use it to help your company out for real this time.. Or spend some more time with your wife”? He gives me a shocked face not believing what I have just said to him. “That poor women… Married to a cheating bastard like you. But know, even though you’re such a human disgrace. I’ve still dedicated my life to protect ungrateful cowards like you. It’s just instinct you know? Have a lovely evening Mr. Smith”! While he looked utterly defeated I walked the rest of the way out of the cafe to Kym, who was still waiting outside.
