Story Feedback

Task 10

Your task is to 1) give feedback to a classmate in Slack #Task 9, 2) then apply useful feedback you received to revise your story, listing al changes of your revision in Task 10 post. .

Find a partner in class to trade feedback for your Twine story–see Partners below.  Download their #Taks 9 html file, , then import it into Twine so you can red it nd see its structure.

Review the Story Feedback Tips sheet so you understand the instructions for giving feedback, and also you know what to expect from your feedback partner. Try to let them know what wold be most helpful to you as you develop your story.

For example, if you have a time travel story, you might ask “Can you follow the time changes in the story–are they clear?”  OR  If you have a mystery about disappearing pets, you might ask “Can you tell it’s pets disappearing and that they are all disappearing on a full moon?”

Give both Play by Play and Criteria based feedback.  Leave the feedback as a reply to their Slack #Task 9 html post (as I did) You will get graded on the quality and care of your comments for this task.

Revise your story based on the feedback you receive.  Note that not all feedback need be useful to you.  You might not care if your reader can’t tell the age of your protagonist, as your story depends on that ambiguity.  But now you know that the age is ambiguous.  Briefly mention the changes you made based on the feedback that was most useful to you.

You will also get graded on your ability to recognize and apply  the useful comments.

For Task 10, list all the changes you made in your revision based on the feedback–from me and from your partner.
