mentor, Ashitaka has his bullet wound healed by the forest spirit, but not his curse. Meaning the forest spirit wants him to live, but he has more work to do.

The enemies, men who are killing the boars, and will later attack the forest spirit
the darkest hour, The forest spirit is killed by lady iboshi, thjis leads to a cataclysmic event where the forest spirit is raging around trying to find its head.
final showdown, San and ashitaka return the forest spirits head, and end the cycle of hatred. This cured ashitaka’s curse
resolution, prince ashitaka says he will help the iron town people rebuild, and San says she will return to the forest.
