For my ArcGIS StoryMap, I’ve been using a mix of photos, maps, and personal narrative to show how my DJ career has developed over the past five years. Most of my work so far has focused on building the structure of the story, starting with how I began DJing in my bedroom, then moving into my first gigs, and finally highlighting the venues and events that helped me grow. I’ve used tools like image blocks, express maps, and side-by-side sections to make the story visually engaging and easy to follow.
One challenge I’m facing is deciding how much personal detail to include without overloading the reader. Another challenge is making sure each visual actually supports the story rather than just filling space. Overall, the project is coming together well, and the platform makes it easy to connect my experiences with visuals that help readers understand the progression of my journey.
