1. Situation
Scientists arriving somewhere in the Maine woods.
2. Desire
Collect samples from a strange fungi in the woods.
3. Conflict
Weird Alien virus contacted through bite/ scratch etc affects the main character (sorta like a drug).
4. Change
The character starts getting side affects and having her world “change” (hallucinations in the story and visually through lighting and coloring).
5. Result
character dies and its discovered the “virus” was actually the ecosystems way of defending itself and the humans turn into fertilizer to feed the forest.
