These photos were taken in Bayside, a quaint little coastal neighborhood in Northport, Maine. The pier is about a 5 minute walk from my childhood home. I would often go down to the pier at night, when nobody was around, and look over the bay to clear my head. And so I took these pictures on one of those walks. Looking through them, one key theme stands out: streetlights. It makes sense that all my photos had streetlights; they were the only light I could capture at night. I’m not sure exactly how to incorporate streetlights into my story. I have a couple ideas: perhaps using them as a metaphor for loneliness, or as a metaphor for the moments in life that make the tough parts worth it.

I like the use of shadows and lighting throughout all of the pictures
I really enjoy the unique concept and photos behind this project!
The way you use the minimal lighting as a way to emphasis the target of these images is awesome.
Really great images, excited to see your storyboard.
