“What I Saw and What I Missed”
For my Project 1, I used a story about the farm that I’ve been to many times, and I had lots of fun memories there. That place always amazed me. It made me reflect on the connection between nature, seasons of the year, and changes. I guess that the farm made me think about changes because they are very visible based on the harvest and the atmosphere.
For the website, I used colors from my pictures, so the viewers could feel like they are on the farm themselves. Also, I used quotes and some graphic elements to make my project look more fun and lovely. For the pictures, I used the pictures that I already had. To make them look more professional, I edited them in Photoshop to make the colors pop and used a grid feature to make them look centered and crop them so viewers could concentrate on the main points of the photos.
I think for my future project, I could do a better job on the picture and take new pictures or videos.
The Project that helped me with mine was Project 1C – Phoebe Ackor . Phoebe did a really good job on her storytelling and visuals. Looking at her website inspired me to use more graphics and quotes for my project.
