Digital storytelling is a practice-based course in which you will explore common story elements, look at engaging story models from anime, and then practice creating these common story elements with the goal of producing a digital story. Some elements include structure, character, theme, world-building, plot and scene development.
By the end of the semester you will use digital techniques including text, web, image, video and audio to craft an interactive story using Twine. No coding experience is required (we learn this in NMD 443), but it can be used to enhance your stories.
