Jazzmyne Haines – Project 2C

As I was capturing the raw video for this project, I wanted to keep it as close to my original storyboard plan as possible. I mostly filmed around the campus, focusing on filming the trees like a curious traveler would have. I also got some moving clips of walk paths to show how time passes while the alien’s checking out the area, and I ended the whole thing with the alien on a bench, lamenting their mistake of trying to study humans at night.

I have not added the captions yet, but I will do so on the second draft. I’d also like to alter the visuals a little bit, but I’m not sure how yet. I either want to clean it up and make it look more HD, or lessen the quality like whatever recording device the alien is using has experienced some kind of weathering or damage. Alternatively, I could change the colors to reflect a different, extraterrestrial color vision.
