This photo is of my room where I begin to go on my walk. I’ve only been living here for a couple weeks, but it’s filled with memorabilia From my journey at UMaine.
The first stop is Charlies Terrace. This is a place where I used to study in the Fall of my first and second year when I was living on campus. There was something very peaceful about studying surrounded by nature.
The next stop on my journey is down the trail near the rec center. I’d always walk down here with my friends or by myself to relieve any stress from life. While this is a little off of the path, the field helps me understand that no matter what happens in my life, the world will always treat me the same.
For the last stop, an apple tree that I encountered on my walk. It felt so symmetrical when I encountered it. The empty grasslands surrounding it took me back to picking apples at my grand parents country house when I was a little kid.
