After presenting my idea to Kaysie, that I wanted to do a project on a timeline that would represent the development of wild blueberry farms over the year, Kaysie presented me with different topics that I could choose since my topic is primarily broad, and she pointed out that I should determine the exact time period I want to represent in my project. I chose to work on the topic: “Development of wild blueberry agriculture/farming from the Civil War era until now”. After that she gave me a resource where I could get some information, and pointed out that there was also a lot of stuff on the internet. I was also thinking about maybe contacting someone in the field and getting some information directly from them.
Plan:
After reviewing the resources, I will separate certain information that will be important to me for my project. Then I will highlight certain events on my timeline and try to present this event in an interesting way through the various images, maps and texts that I find. I will also try to get in touch with some people in the community who may have some additional information on this topic to complete my timeline.
