:: Diary {“position”:”550,625″,”size”:”100,100″}
You open and dump the box of things you still have of Phobe’s. Clothes, jewelry, photos and a dark leather notebook spill out onto the floor. The latter looks like Phobe’s diary. You leaf through it, but find nothing. You place the box {back link, label: “back”} in the closet.
:: Floor 1 {“position”:”1350,600″,”size”:”100,100″}
You peak into various halls, but nothing cathes your eye. Do you want to go [[up->Floor 2]] or [[back to the dorm->dorm room]]?
:: Floor 2 {“position”:”1475,600″,”size”:”100,100″}
Again, more empty classrooms line the hallways with nothing of note. Do you want to continue [[up->Floor 3]] or go back [[down->Floor 1]]?
:: Floor 3 {“position”:”1600,600″,”size”:”100,100″}
On the third floor, all of the office doors are shut. You walk slowly down the hall looking into the glass of each door. Towards the end, you reach an office emmitting a soft blue glow from [[inside]]. Check it out, or [[go back down->Floor 2]]?

You head towards the library, thinking there must be something on the past missing students you’ve heard rumors about. Since you arrived, there have been whispers between students of the school having an unusual amount of students seemingly disappear since it’s opening. \
\
You push the heavy oak doors open and head strait up to the second floor where you know the older books are shelved. You search around for a little while, roaming the dust covered spines waiting for something to catch your eye. \
\
Eventually, you come upon some old newspapers. Filing through, a headline cathes your eye: *THIRD MISSING STUDENT THIS YEAR*. You quickly grab the case it’s nested in and [[check it out->newspaper]] of the library.
:: Lincoln Hall {“position”:”1475,375″,”size”:”100,100″}
You walk in the brisk fall night to Old Campus, where the buildings are worn from age and life. Phobe’s last known location was Lincoln Hall. Lincoln Hall has a first and second floor of lecture halls and classrooms and a third floor with offices for various professors.

Rue got the call yesterday to let her know the police investigation to find Phobe was over. She had sat in bed for the last month, unsure of how to proceed in a life without her. Countless emails from professors threatened failing grades and unpaid bills slowly piled up in the mailbox. Rue hadn’t found it in herself to do much of anything since Phobe went missing—but now that no one else is looking for her, she knows she has to do something.

You take a closer peak, but can’t tell exactly where the light is coming from. A wide desk spans across half of the office and the bookshelves are cluttered with all sorts of things. You know you shouldn’t be opening the door… but your curiosity is piqued. Do you try to [[open it->office]], or[[ leave->Floor 3]]?

*THIRD MISSING STUDENT THIS YEAR*
January 17, 1923\
\
Hallowville, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and the venerable Cypress University, is now grappling with an unsettling reality. In the wake of two earlier disappearances earlier this year, a third student from this institution has now vanished under eerie circumstances, plunging the campus into a state of trepidation.\
\
The most recent disappearance, which occurred on January 12th, has sent shockwaves through the community, as Theodore “Teddy” Montgomery, an exceptional history enthusiast and the captain of the university’s debate team, disappeared without a trace. Friends and faculty alike are left to grapple with the sudden void left by Teddy’s absence. Just like Samantha Waverley and Charles Harrington before him, Teddy seemed to simply vanish into thin air, leaving his loved ones bewildered and the university community in turmoil.\
\
The unsettling chain of events began earlier this year when Samantha Waverley, an outstanding chemistry student, mysteriously disappeared on October 20th. Samantha had been last seen leaving the university library, laden with research papers and notebooks, casting a shadow of perplexity over her promising academic career.\
\
A mere month later, on November 5th, Charles Harrington, a talented and charismatic aspiring actor, joined the ranks of the missing. \
\
Campus police, local law enforcement, and even private investigators have been working relentlessly to unravel the mysteries surrounding these disappearances, but each attempt has proven futile, further deepening the sense of dread and bewilderment on campus.\
\
Speculations abound on campus, with theories ranging from the supernatural to the sinister. Some students and faculty whisper about an ominous curse that has befallen the university, while others suggest that rival institutions may be involved in foul play. Yet, authorities continue to stress the importance of calm and patience while they diligently pursue any leads.\
\
As Hallowridge University confronts this unprecedented crisis, one thing remains abundantly clear: the chilling disappearance of Samantha Waverley, Charles Harrington, and now Theodore Montgomery marks an ominous pattern that has cast a pall over the institution. Its once-sterling reputation is now tinged with unease and apprehension, leaving the hearts of the community heavy with worry and the search for answers ever more urgent. In a year marred by inexplicable vanishings, the truth remains elusive, shrouded in mystery and foreboding.
