Project 3d – Frank Albert

This is the final draft for my ArcGIS StoryMap on my trip to Mont Tremblant last year. By looking beyond Maine to Mont Tremblant, this project reflects on how skiing experiences differ across regions and what those differences reveal about mountain culture, identity, and design.

Progress:

Based on the feedback from project 3c, I have updated and added a few aspects to my story. I changed the theme for my project from a light blue and brighter greens, to a tan background with a red secondary color. I feel like this theme fits the story better as it progresses and shows more of the base village. I added a little more context between my “Where skiing started for me” section and “Looking beyond home” on why I was looking to ski outside of Maine. I also added 2 other parts, one being on Culture & Atmosphere of the village, which quickly talks about the year round vibrancy and the local alpine charm it shares, and the other is a reflection section before I wrap the story up with what Maine resorts can learn.
