Photo Story – Project 1 Madyson Whitlock
For my story, I made the mistake of basing it in chronological order at the start. As I looked through other people’s stories, I noticed how they took a more fictional type of approach. Immediately, I completely wished I had taken this path sooner, so many other people had such cool ideas to get people immersed in their stories. As for camera techniques, I wish I could have gotten more perspective into mine, different angles that weren’t just stationary. The stories that stuck out most to me were Aivlin’s project, with a somewhat apocalyptic vibe in their story. I loved the kind of approach of using an adventure like an ARG story. The second project that caught my eye was Will’s. For myself, I would never imagine being able to do this; there were so many elements that made it interactive, including the point of their story being truly game-like.
