This is my photo based story.
Revised Day 52 by Aivlin Moss – there are three pages, I am not sure why it is displaying it as a video.
Two Things I would like to use in my next project:
I like how the images and text move when you move the mouse in William’s Project.
In Marion’s project I really enjoyed how she used the coordinates of where the photo was taken along with the elevation. I also loved how descriptive her text was, it made me feel as if I was there, not just looking at photos and reading about these locations
What I saw and what I missed:
I think I could have made my story more descriptive and added more worldbuilding to it. I think my photos are pretty good, but I wish I had photos of the area at different times of day. I think I could have really enhanced my project if it was a physical piece instead of one online, I think it would have made more sense as part of a physical journal, as finding realistic journal pages on Canva was kind of difficult.
I wish I would have figured out how to make the pages scroll instead of being a video, I think it would have worked a lot better if I kept it as one long page instead of having it the way it is, but by the time I found out it had to be multiple pages long I had already had my project done and as I did not opt for a website style I felt a bit lost of how to achieve the scrolling style I wanted as I think the affect of the notebook background would have translated better as it is very hard to tell I found an open journal background and cropped it so each section is on a different page and the first two line up so it looks like an open notebook.
