These images are from a trip my girlfriend and I took last spring break to Charleston, Hilton Head, and Savannah. This trip was special to me in a lot of ways, for one I had never really spent time in the south before, so every place we went felt like an adventure. The atmosphere was completely different then anything i’m used to, and the foliage was completely different as well. This was the first trip i’ve gone on without my family, and it was definitely the first trip I payed for. I also love history, and all three of these places are rich with it. We fell in love with Savannah and Charleston.
These photos are from Charlevoix, Michigan. We go every year for a week, but when I was a kid, we went for months every summer. This place is special to me in a couple of ways, and a large part of that is it’s natural beauty. It was in Michigan that I discovered my love for the woods and the water, and when I’m stressed I often find myself thinking of here.
