The story revolves around the Main Character, Calvin, who has lost his memory. He finds himself pursued by a corrupt government lead by a single entity. Calvin must figure out his connection to this conflict, and put a stop to the corrupt government in the process.
Main Character Ghost:
– The Main Character’s name is Calvin
– The lie Calvin believes is that he has nothing to do with the situation he’s in
– Calvin wants to run away, but he needs to put a stop to the conflict at hand, this is because its currently affecting all aspects of his life, putting him in perpetual danger/peril
– One of Calvin’s ghosts is that he is somehow connected to the conflict he is experiencing, yet he doesn’t know where he fits in
– Calvin would benefit from learning the “truth” or over-coming his conflict as he will be able to return to a peaceful life, in addition to filling the hole in his memory.
-I don’t think the story needs to reveal the ghost, as its pretty evident through out the story what he is missing, and what he is working towards.
Calvin’s normal world is this sort of fictitious world he thinks is how things were before Father was in control. He doesn’t have concrete details on this normal world due to his lack of memory, but he believes it to be far better than the current state of things. Calvin’s adventure world is the current life he is playing a part in. Constantly pursued by government, always on the run. He’s actively trying to recover what’s missing from him.
I believe a unique twist I could implement in the story would be that once the antagonist is taken care of, its revealed that the antagonist was actually helping out most people, and that things are not quite better off with the antagonist out of the picture.
