Character finds a tracking device on their car and realizes they are being stalked
2. What decision will lead your protagonist to the First Plot Point?
Frustrated and scared because the cops did nothing to help, the character decides to take things into their own hands and try to discover who’s stalking them and why
3. Will the First Plot Point seem favorable? If so, how will the complications turn out to be worse than the protagonist expected?
The first plot point will not seem favorable. The character is a very trusting, naive person. Their normal world seems safe and harmless to them. Finding out they’re being stalked and realizing how little the cops can do turn the characters life upside down as they are left with nothing but questions.
4. Or will this event be obviously disastrous?
Left with no answer, in fear that they are still being stalked, the character will decide to try to figure things out on their own, which is obviously not a safe or smart decision when you’re dealing with a stalker
5. Will the protagonist willingly embrace the First Plot Point and walk into the Second Act under his own power?
Kind of. They’ve been forced into this awful situation that has left them uneasy and rocked their trust in people. They will make the choice to try to find answers on their own in order to try to get back to feeling safe.
6. Or will he have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, through the gateway between acts?
7. Will the First Plot Point destroy the Normal World? Or will it physically remove your character from the Normal World? Or will it warp the Normal World around the protagonist?
The first plot point will warp the normal world around the character. Growing up in a fairly small town, where not much ever happened, having lived a fairly safe and uneventful life with limited trauma, the character is overly comfortable and trusting in the people around them. Finding out about their stalker with completely warp their view of the place they live in and the people they know, leaving them questioning who they can trust.

The character will be distraught.
9. What new plot goal will the character form in response to the First Plot Point?
In response to the first plot point, the character will decide to try to figure out who is stalking them and why.
