For something I regret doing, I can single out one event during high school where I decided to play a basketball game even though I was injured. During one game I sprained my ankle and was supposed to be out of the court for two to three weeks. We had a very important game after 5 days and despite my injury I wanted to play at my own risk. Everything was fine until at one point near the end of the game I sprained the same ankle again. At that moment the injury was much more serious and I had to be out for the next 6 months. It really affected me both physically and mentally and I often questioned why I did it. It greatly affected my basketball career, but I overcame that difficult situation and continued playing normally. I think that what happened slowed down my development to a great extent at that point and I think that because of that I was not able to achieve my full potential in high school.
