An inconvenient arrival of some ragtag pirates who are looking for the exact same thing his brother was forever ago, but these pirates are not nice and end up ruining the nearby town arno is familiar with, so he says his mind and ends up hitching a ride with them and that’s where the journey starts

He might have a hint of luck on his side and narrowly cuts a deal with these pirates to spare his town, for in return help them find the OPHIR ceremony.

He will convince the pirates to go find this mystery ceremony full of riches and that given the circumstances, luck seems to favor Arno, therefore he will push it to get to this mysterious ceremony which becomes his goal
How will the First Plot Point put your character’s feet on the path to his new Truth?
Convincing pirates leads to his new journey and overtime he finds trinkets along the way that will lead him where he has to go.
How will the First Plot Point create a new world in which the character will be “punished” for acting according to his Lie?
He will go on a quest to find his brothers trinkets or whatnot, and eventually there will be one that’s broken beyond repair, leading to the distrust of the pirates and the lie that he believes being his brother is still alive… (he is just have to trick the reader a bit)
