My family used to be frequent customers of this pub, eating there, and working there. It was a small place that was very intimate and community driven, with the service often being linked to familiarity with the proprietor. There were definitely more small stores and hole in the wall restaurants that filled the area that also had their roots in the community. It was common to visit these places if you lived in the area. Eventually most of these stores changed ownership and developed and visits became less frequent for locals but they were very chill in my youth.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Questions?<\/p>\n<p>Are the photos too similar in subject?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We discussed how the subjects are similar but the composition differentiates the photos pretty well. I might go back and take some new photos to make the photos more variable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any ideas about the story?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We Talked about my plan for the story, which is either going to be about the change in the location to new growth, or following the animals and finding a story there. Zane encouraged the new growth idea, saying that its an interesting topic. We also talked about how the photos can work simultaneously with the story to communicate my message to the viewer so I might not need to rely entirely on the photos to talk about new growth which would be hard to photograph.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2. tips: mood\/emotion, moment, composition\/subject<\/p>\n<p>These tips from the video stood out to me as something that I could apply to my own project and photos. I think that mood and emotion is good because it is specifically for the viewer, however as the photographer going into a place with the mood in mind might change your perspective and lead you to see things in a particular why which could result in some cool photos. Similarly if you have a emotion you want to capture you can keep an eye out for a specific moment that would portray this emotion. I don&#8217;t have a particular mood in mind for my place but I do like more moody vibes so I might go either early in the morning or late in the evening to get darker and more interesting light, utilizing a particular moment to get this effect. I also was interested by the tips about subject and composition, as my photos focus less on a specific subject and more on the overall scenery.
