The layout of the square circuit boards and how they were arranged looks similar to the aerial shot of a modern city\u2014think Albuquerque\u2014that was preplanned on this grid format and common infrastructure; you see buildings, streets, fields, without those things actually being there. When you zoom in, you can see its beauty, though it is not meant to be artistic.<\/p>\n<p>The impact is the scale, the amount of these boards discarded makes you think about it more intensely&#8211; especially since the photograph proposes the feeling of continuity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I chose Chris Jordan&#8217;s piece Circuit boards, Atlanta, 2004.
