{"id":11902,"date":"2025-09-23T18:40:38","date_gmt":"2025-09-23T22:40:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/?p=11902"},"modified":"2025-09-27T13:40:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-27T17:40:47","slug":"project-1c-caramon-cotroneo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/project-1c-caramon-cotroneo\/","title":{"rendered":"Project 1c &#8211; Caramon Cotroneo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tributaries.shorthandstories.com\/solitary-quarantining\/index.html\">View the story here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An introduction to my experience with the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the tips that I tried to implement in this draft of the story include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sequencing photos to tell a story<\/li>\n<li>Using archways and windows to frame photos intentionally, often placing interiors of rooms on the edges of the frame<\/li>\n<li>Using heavy contrast and light\/shadow to emphasize the struggle of being isolated<\/li>\n<li>Closeups of important objects to place emphasis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Note: I realized while making this draft of the project that I didn&#8217;t take enough photos to fill the page, so I will fix the duplicate photos by heading back to the original location and taking new ones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some years ago, the world suffered from a global pandemic, causing a widespread surge of agitation as everyone suddenly became confined within the walls of their own homes. While some thrived during this era, a large number of individuals only remember the negatives from these couple of years.
