This photo from last week showcases how empty the road was, and displays the peaceful morning. I always soak in the mornings when I am completely alone, since it is just behind a student apartment complex.<\/p>\n

This week, I brought my friend to walk in the same path, and walk with me through my usual routine. We both agreed on how much we are going to miss warm Orono mornings when we graduate in May.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I was previously waiting for the train to pass by, and like usual, there was no sign of the train. I usually wonder what their schedule is, and how uncommon it is to see it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

My friend had the same thoughts, and stood by the same spot while talking to me about it. I found it funny how we share so many of the same questions, and how we have never brought it up to each other before.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The view of the Penobscot River never fails to amaze me, but this morning in particular felt like I was disrupting the peace. As I was watching someone meditate by the water, I felt as if I was interrupting someone elses routine.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Since there was no one else by the river, we sat to watch the water, and decompress before our busy days. It was almost our own way of meditating.<\/p>\n

We ended up walking back, both disappointed with the lack of the train passing, but also with a quiet tranquility that set the mood for the rest of our day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
