My favorite spot is sitting down on the grass by the banks of the river. I’ve watched many storm clouds roll over the horizon but never make it across the river. A chance of rain doesn’t feel real until the leaves above me start to shake, then the chance seems definite. Lazy days turn into relaxing evenings when the summer sun allows for it. I love to see the same people in the park. The owner of the black poodle is less understanding in October when she charges into the river than he is in July. Even in the winter, when the grass is hidden beneath ski tracks, I’m surrounded by tall towers of green. I appreciate being in the park very much, and the natural environment is what draws myself and others to it. Overtime, I learned how much satisfaction I would have after going to the park, even if I initially can only consider the snow melting in my boots. I have learned the perspective that there is something to appreciate in every experience, and I take that with me in my everyday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
