\"\"\u00a0 Finally landing in Indonesia after back-to-back flights that lasted over 24 hours, this was my first glimpse of the country.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0 Took this while riding in the car to my partner’s house; the traffic is on a whole different level than in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\"\" I saw this sign while visiting the beach. I thought it was cool how it pointed in the direction of other countries.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0 This was taken on one of the bridges in Padang. We took many photos around the city that day.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0 I took this photo at Lamun Ombak, which is Padang’s most popular restaurant. You are given many varieties of food that can range from sweet to spicy.<\/p>\n

\"\" This was taken while we visited the zoo in Bukittinggi, surprisingly, this was also my first time visiting a zoo. I saw many animals while there, but the ones I was most surprised to see were deer.<\/p>\n

\"\" Another photo taken on our mini trip to Bukittinggi, it was taken near the zoo over a bridge. I felt it brought out a lot of the colors of the city.<\/p>\n

Story of all the images:
\nThese photos show my recent trip I took to Indonesia last month, which was my first time out of the country and introduced to me to many new experiences. I was able to meet many new people who have now accepted me into their family, and I was able to taste so many different kinds of food. I have had Indonesian food many times before, but of course, the flavors of it being fresh from there were on a whole different level. I hope to go back again, but I also hope to share the experiences and different moments I encountered through some of these photos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
