Despite just moving into my fraternity house, it’s story goes much further. Being about a century old, the house saw many different groups over the years. These images tell stories not only of what how the house serves us today, but how it’s been treated.<\/p>\n

The floorboards that have seen the sun time and time again. The cuts and scrapes symbolize the ever changing environment that this house faces.<\/p>\n

The crooked painting. Invites a sense of imperfection into the house.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Old Fireplace. A remanent of an earlier time now covered in bricks and prioritized by the TV.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A Maine Legacy. A reminder of why we’re all together in this house.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The bar is filled with etchings and covered in clutter. This shot is just a fragment of what resides here.<\/p>\n

In recent years, this house has been packed full of my own memories that I’ve made with some people that I regard my close friends. While I understand that I’ll never know what the years are going to do to this place, I hope that some of these marks remain so they can give some hints to future residents of the fun we had when we lived there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
