[idea is a journal log from someone who has survived the apocalypse and is the only one left, they are noting their surroundings as they travel in hopes of finding other human life, they are also looking for scrap materials]<\/p>\n

The sun is starting to set so I figured I should find somewhere to stay for the night, I saw a sign and figured I’d follow it and hope that it took me somewhere I could find some shelter. It was my only hope as there seems to be nothing but the road for miles. I found some tunnel filled with water, I’m not sure where the water is going but I figured I should find out where it is coming from, hopefully it is drinkable. Much as I expected I haven’t encountered anyone else, but the graffitti seems relatively untouched so maybe I’m not the last one left. It’s a little overgrown but I didn’t reckon it would be well groomed all things considered. I climbed up the metal structure and found some sort of tower. I’m not sure what it is, but I reckon I should listen to the signs telling me to stay away from the water so I walked back down and drank some of the water flowing over the edge of the concrete, I think I might be able to stay here for a few days to explore and wash my clothes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
