I like to take this walk early in the mornings on busy days so I have some tranquility. The sun was shining and I have been trying to soak up the good weather while I have it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11045\" src=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-proje-ct1-05-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-proje-ct1-05-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-proje-ct1-05.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The brush that surrounds the road was this bright green color, and the morning sun made the lighting so beautiful on the scenery. Although I can&#8217;t wait for the change to Autumn colors, I think that Summer provides the prettiest scenes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11043\" src=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-02-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-02-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-02.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><br \/>\nOn my walk down, I have to cross over a railroad, and every time I go past, I always wish the train would come by. I have walked this route countless times and I have always been unlucky. The tracks remind me of one my favorite movies, Stand By Me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11044\" src=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-03-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-03-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-03.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The stopping point on my walk is the lookout over the Penobscot River. There is a steep walking path down to the shore, but someone was meditating on the rocks, so I watched peacefully from above. This photo is my favorite that I took this day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11046\" src=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-04-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-04-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-project1-04.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">My dreams came true on this walk. I was able to watch the train go by, and take photos to brag to my friends. It took a couple minutes for it to pass, but I soaked it up. As I headed back, I saw some of my friends who missed the train and shared my photos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11042\" src=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-proje-ct1-06-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-proje-ct1-06-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/umainenewmedia.net\/nmd343\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/meghanfay-proje-ct1-06.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I take a shortcut through the woods back to my apartment, and there are little walking trails. It adds to the full experience, and allows me to appreciate both a river and forest scene.
