Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge is a spot I\u2019ve been going to for years. It\u2019s only about ten minutes from my house, so it\u2019s always been an easy and fun place to go. Since it\u2019s open all year round, I\u2019ve seen it change with the seasons and the crazy weather.<\/p>\n

In the summer it\u2019s very lively with people, animals and greenery. In the winter it\u2019s very quiet and but still beautiful. There are fishermen that go year round too! Sunrises and sunsets are always worth the trip, since it overlooks both the water and fields.<\/p>\n

I usually go with friends, sometimes just for a quick walk, other times we\u2019ll stay out there longer. We go for a huge variety of reasons, whether its just to go for a stroll to get outside, to walk and eat ice cream, and also a spot we’ve taken up talking about tougher stuff too. It\u2019s turned into all of my friends go-to spots for everything.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s always something new to see! There are deer everywhere, so many different kinds of birds and creatures, every once in a while you\u2019ll come across a snake on the trail. It makes the walk interesting every time.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s simple and nothing crazy, but I\u2019ve made a lot of great memories (and pictures!) there while also being able to enjoy just getting outside.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
