Me and my friends like going on random trips to places in Maine because our friend Ryan isn’t originally from Maine. So first semester last year we all pilled into Ryan’s car and wen’t to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. I really remember this trip fondly because one it was our first trip together as friends and two most of us had been to Bar Harbor and Acadia already but our out of state friend had never been, so it was very fun to see him experience everything for the first time. The added fact that it was winter, so me and my friends had Thunder hole and most of Bar Harbor practically to ourselves made it all the more memorable.<\/p>\n

\n\"\" Local band playing music during a festival<\/p>\n

I joined the Umaine club field hockey team last year when I started my freshman year. Our first away game was at Umass Lowell, so me and the other girls who were playing got on a bus and stayed at a very cute inn in Massachusetts the night before the game. Across the street from the inn was a little festival going on with live music and food vendors and since it was October there was so many cute halloween decorations around the inn and the town itself; it was a nice experience for me and a few of my teammates to walk around and explore what was going on, it was a nice experience to be able to bond with everyone since I hadn’t really gotten close to any of them since some of us barley talked at practice but going to this festival where we really got to hang out and talk to each other and some people who lived there felt really nice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
