These are photos taken on a secret trail I discovered in Bangor, Maine. I used to run on this trail from summer to fall, watching the leaves of the trees change from vibrant green to the colors of red, yellow, and orange. I grew up on this trail, despite now living in Old Town and finding new secret paths where I can be alone, I still have a big place in my heart for this trail and the memories I&#8217;ve created. I would say that this connects with me because it is my place to be alone. It is my place to be truly me in the most basic form. Going there is like a form of meditation for me. It helps me calm down, envision the person I want to be, and make decisions in my life.
