Maxx Smith and I will be discussing the ideas of incorporating gardens into K-12 schools and using the crop for free school lunches. We will also introduce an app that will allow students to log what they did for the garden each day, potentially giving extra credits to those who participate in the garden. This could be good for low-income students as they benefit by getting free and healthy food to eat, and by increasing their grades when unable to do homework outside of class. Maybe it can be a homework substitute for these students and encourage competition between classes. You can track the stats of each class and the class that produces the most crop, or works the most hours in the garden will get a pizza party at the end of the year/semester.  We spit both the writing and image selection and creation fifty, fifty.
