An overview of New Media projects, strategies and techniques. We will explore New Media projects from some of the following  major genres such as:  Digital Commons & Hacktivism, Autobotography, and EcoTech.

Our approach will be a practical, problem solving approach.  We will explore how some of your New Media skills might be applied to solving problems that you identify, and we will examine the extent to which new technologies solve pressing problem and contribute to quality of life (or NOT).

For each genre we , you will will create a concept (intent), and a visual mock up/rough prototype (approach). Final projects will be a fully realized version of one of your previous prototypes. You will work in teams and as individuals.
